Meeting 1

In our first meeting we brainstormed our ideas for the genre and theme of our opening scene. Our ideas included chick flicks, fairy tale adaptations, black and white old-fashioned films and dramatic, mysterious thrillers. We thought of using a diary style narrative, and an external narrator and also setting it in a high school.

We then researched further into our chick flick and narrator ideas, looking at the opening scenes for:
-Angus, Thomgs and Perfect Snogging
-Stranger Than Fiction
-The Holiday
-Forrest Gump
-Mean Girls
-Legally Blonde
